It just makes so much sense, how else can you describe the continuation of their relationship? Who’d be lame enough to see it as something else? Or to ignore it?

They make you feel so warm and fuzzy inside, regardless of intensity. Why unnecessarily force them away with Mary-Sues, OOCs, or untimely deaths? Sounds ridiculous to me.

You can’t seperate them no matter how perverse your mind may be. Sesshoumaru and Rin are a couple, a pair, romantic or not. Rin is his sanity…you cannot just pull them apart.

It’s the best pairing in the whole entire series!! Without being branded insane/weirdo/or my personal favorite \”pervert\”. ^^; I\’ve always loved Inu/Kag but my respect for The Lord of the Western Lands and his innocent ward has easily eclipsed them in my eyes. The fact that they\’re becoming canon is highly ironic and \”perversely\” satisfying. :snickers and points at the doubters:: I\’m soooo happy to have found this site! i love sess/rin so much because they’re perfect for each other..,besides rin is the only person allowed by sess to recieve his full love and care.the two of them can really understand each other just by simple gesture/action.lastly sess & rin deserves to be happy just like inu&kagome.

Sesshomaru and Rin together forever! One of the honest pairings, or rather, the only honest pairing of the Inuyasha series which really deserved such a wonderful fan site. They’re undoubtly made for each other, because it shows the taboo side of the show. There’s hanyou+human, human+human, and now demon+human.

And despite what others say, Rin and Sesshomaru belong to each other. Rin’s presence grew into Sesshomaru’s life and will leave a really, REALLY deep mark.

Well consider this, when Kagura died he walked away as normal. When Sara died he did the same. When Rin dies again you can really see strong shock and anger in his expression. He does everythng to get her back, in front of his mother! There are plenty of other reasons that you can’t just say, “Oh well, Sesshoumaru still should go with blah blah blah…” It’s the only pairing I can see Sesshoumaru in that is anywhere near cannon. The pairing is so pure and sweet. It’s hard for me to see him with anyone else.

I admit it wholeheartly that this pairing of Sessh/Rin truly captured me. ahhh!! I love this pairing so much, i want to thank Rumiko T. for creating this epic characters into my manga/anime life!^_^

My wallpaper right now came from here ^_^ Sess and Rin are my fav couple, as in FAVORITE (I’ve come to write almost exclusively just Sess/Rin fanfic *sweatdrop* and they usually get preference over my others). I think Rin is the only character of all the ones within the manga/anime that truely has a chance to be Sess’s one and only. I mean, has anyone else touched Sess’s heart as much as Rin has? Can anyone ever displace Rin in Sess’s heart as his true love?! Truthfully, the pairing I don’t understand but which seems to be popular is Kagome/Sesshoumaru. From any way I look at it, don’t these two have characterisitics inherent to their respective natures/personalities that are unreconcilable?

I love Sesshy/Older Rin!!! One of my fav. couples! I honestly believe that the couple will become canon when she gets older, only because of how much Sesshy hated humans in the begining of the series. It just so ironic and romantic! Sesshoumaru x Rin cannot be more cannon or more obvious in this series. After recent chapters I even had more proof for their obvious pairing in the future when Rin grows up ;D I was so happy.

When I first started out watching the series I fell in love with the cannon (IY/Kagome and Miroku/Sango) but then I started loving Rin/Sesshoumaru as well. I don’t know but I can see it happening. I don’t think intimacy would happen until she’s roughly 13, I believe that’s around the marriage age of most places at the time. Kissing and hugging, of course, would happen at anytime once feelings are sorted out. I do think there was something between him and Kagura, not love but not hate. Like. the irony is he might end up having romantic feelings for a human and like his brother he falls for the second woman who actually knows what love is. Cute couple. Perhaps with Rin he will stop hating humans as much and forget about killing Inuyasha because he doesn’t seem to hate him as much as he says he does.

Rin and Sesshoumaru… I adore the pair. They are, by far, my most favorite couple in the anime, and overall, ANY anime I have watched. I stand by my opinions, and I will probably continue to adore the couple till kingdom come or until the anime/manga says otherwise. Heck, maybe even beyond that.

Now, my personal feelings on this pair and why I support it… It’s irony. What better way to throw something into someone’s face than to take something they disliked so much, turn it against them, so they now like it, and even cherish it? Sesshoumaru despises humans; however, it is more than evident he is softened by Rin’s presence, to the point he is willing to go out of his way to save her. Now, give it a few more years, to where Rin is physically mature, and put a mix of hidden romance between the two that steadily grows into something a little more obvious. This relationship would be something for Sesshoumaru to cherish, much more than any half-hearted companionship with another demoness. Why? Because he overcame his hate of humans, an obstable that plagued him for the gist of his life. The thought of this would undoubtedly bring Sesshoumaru closer to her, as he abandoned all of himself to a mere mortal.

Dunno about you, but that stirs up the romantic in me. ;D

Long story short: A lot of us Sess x Rin followers like the thought of them being together when Rin is OLDER, not younger. For now, we can just awe at the adoration Rin has for Sesshoumaru, and mister stick-up-the-butt being too cool to say that he at least cares for her. xD;;;

I find the beauty of love between Sesshomaru and Rin very intriguing. WHY? BECOZ THEY HAVE THE KIND OF LOVE WE ALL WISH FOR, BUT ONLY A HANDFUL OF US CAN EVER FIND IN THIS LIFE: SOULMATE LOVE.

I think everyone on this website sees the magic between them, their love transcends time and social limitations. Age didn’t matter, they just loved each other, even though Rin was only 8 at the beginning.

I have a grave disgust for people who label Sess as lollicon, becoz if u look closer at Rin’s behaviour around him in both anime and manga, it is the behaviour of a psychologically healthy child. If one examines the character of Sesshomaru, this is a highly-disciplined man who sets high standards for himself and lives by them. Despite his good looks, he is thinker who understands the true value of “free-will” – to have sexual intimacy with a child who is too young to comprehend the meaning of sex is not knowing how to respect the other’s free-will – a breach of Sesshomaru’s integrity, quite different from his conviction that humans are just insects, as this is a sort of principle that forms the core of his character – one of the biggest reason why we love him despite his bad-ass talk. Sesshomaru is fundamentally a man of strong principles and high standards.

At the same time, I find people who pair Sess with Kagura SO WRONG, mainly becoz these people seem to have confused empathy with love. When Kagura came to ask Sess to kill off Naraku for her, given his deep perceptiveness, he must have realized how desperate she must have been to have come to him out of nowhere for such a favor. When he refused, her lashing at him for being “scared of Naraku” and “not like a man” only serves to confirm her desperation. If not for this episode, he would have killed her off without blinking an eye as she was supposed to be in cahoots with his enemy, but now that he knew that she never had wanted to work for Naraku, he EMPATHIZED with Kagura, and when she was dying, he SYMPATHIZED with her, hence his seeking of her out of his own accord and thought of saving her with Tenseiga. At best, Sesshomaru pitied and empathized with Kagura – THAT IS NOWHERE NEAR “LOVE”.

As for SessRin, their love for each other is simply a pure kind that is not laid upon by obligations or blood-relations. THEY STAY WITH EACH OTHER BECOZ THEY WANT TO. Whatever “obligations” or “binding bonds” that tie them together, they do it to themselves. Fate only opened for them the door. If this is not the greatest type of love to be envied, I don’t know what is.

Throughout the series, Sesshomaru again and again contemplates his father’s decision to give him Tenseiga. The answer becomes clearer and clearer the longer after Rin came into his life, and apparently it may be something even bigger than what the father originally had in mind according to me. Answer: Tenseiga is the karmic order that Sesshomaru has to fulfill, a destiny that he has to fulfill in order to be on the path to become the greatest ruling youkai alive.

Well, my fav Inu pairing is always SessxRin!! i think they\’d make SUCH a good couple. Some people said they saw this as a father/daughter thing but i just dont see it. Nor can i ever imagine sess with kagura.

I have ALWAYS loved the pairing of RIN and SESSHOMAROU. The two actually compliment each other. Rin’s light to Sessy’s dark, Rin’s ability ro be elloquently simple.

Age is but a number and I can conceve it to see the both of them in a more intimate setting once Rin is of age – but also keep in mind how well she will know Sesshomarou by then! How well HE will know her!

Theirs is a love we ALL hunger for. We ALL want our partner to want for us to “grow” and become more than we are already with no hesitation or reservation. I’m just glad to find a place wehrer I get to see such growth.\

For that I thank you… And, while thank you is of itself a very one dimentional word, it is all that I have… but it is sincere.

I think that Rin and Sesshomaru would make a cute couple. For right now, its sort of admiration. But
if you look into the future, he would probably be in the same situation as Kagome and Inuyasha.
Then he probably wouldn’t have much to say.
I wish that the creator would make Rin older.
It makes me wonder what their relationship would be like later on. I am totally obsessed with this couple along with the Inukag couple. I guess in some ways Sesshy is like Inuyasha. It takes them a long time to admit they love someone. But Rin does give him love and affection. For someone so young, she truly has gripped the heart of the once cold hearted Sesshomaru. I think that in a lot of ways she would be perfect for him. No demoness could ever take the place of Rin!!!
Its just to bad that Sesshy can’t open up and say it. But even though he tries to hide it, everyone can see that his actions speak louder than words.
I hope that maybe someday we will get to see her grow up. But if not, I guess we will just have to stick with fanfictions.

Ive had my fair share of awesome fanfics that drive me over the edge with this coupling. Sure people can say that shes bad cause shes a child but when she older you cant deny it. When i was reading scans of the manga I did find a dissatisfying picture. :\ It was those little funny pictures that they put between the chapters and it was someone talking about how SessxKagome was horrible and it anit goina happen, I was like TAKE THAT YOU SXK LOVERS. xD Then it continued with downing SessxRin. I was horrifed. Stupid Rumiko T. :\ I was screaming at my monitor. xD

It’s been years since I’ve last seen some episodes of Inuyasha, but ever since first saving Rin and Sesshomaru together I knew they were meant to be. It was so very obvious and very shoujo-anime esque. Sesshomaru is the anti-hero in Inuyasha’s world, cold, calm, unfeeling, idifferent and Rin is the equivalent of everything good, she’s innocent, pure, she’s all smiles and sunshine and while sure, Kagome is the miko with purification power, Kikyo the eternal beauty and Kagura a powerful yokai, none of them have touched Sesshomaru’s heart. He saves Kagome a few times, but it has something in it for him, yet he gains nothing as he uses Tensaiga to bring Rin back to life, only the chance to see her smile again. He defends Kagura after her death and his arm returns but even that is born out of the compassion that he started to feel as he met Rin. He’d taken a liking to her from the start, as she tried to bring him food and tend for him, worried and curious what had happened as the villagers beat her, and he went to investigate as he smelt blood and Kouga’s wolves from the same direction she came from to see him. That was proof enough for me, and that was just the beginnig. I remember reading somewhere that Tkahashi-sensei had wanted to end the manga differently, a few years more into the future to show Inuyasha and Kagome’s relationship a bit better and a teenage Rin who goes with Sesshomaru as he comes to get her from Kagome’s care. But her editors put her into pressure and hence the manga ended a chapter earlier with just a promise that maybe Sesshomaru will come and take Rin away once again.

It has been YEARS since I watched Inuyasha. I had abandoned the show as a crappy fad for little girls …but then felt a little pang in my heart this week over my childhood and read a story. That is how I ended up here. I must say Sesshomaru/Rin is a wonderful couple. When I used to watch the show I always thought they were a good couple or would make a good couple. And, yes, she was a child at the time. I didn’t care.

When Rin first found Sesshomaru I Thought and KNEW that She Was Meant to be with him !!!!!! This was because I knew she was a frightened little girl, But what frightened little girl would be so comfertable aruond a demon such as Sesshy? They were both so hardcore untill they met each other,and I dont know if you’ve noticed or not but Rin NEVER used to talk to anyone, But after she met Sesshomaru that changed for the better!!!!!!!!!!!!I could go on forever about how Cute that couple is!!!!!!!!!!! Finally there is someone out there that is thinking straight! I was confuesed between the whole Kagome and sess thing, because i never read the whole series and i only read the fanfics so i got myself confuesed there. Thanks a lot and im rooting to the original three couples!!!!!!!!

I really think, for now, that rin is too young. I know that she will get older one day but sesshomaru really should find a female demon for him. kagura would be good but i would never get over the fact that she works for naraku. he’s really a loner…he could be with me!

Sesshomaru & Rin are the chosen pair. Rin is the only human Sesshy has ever toughed. From the get go he respected her courage and bravery. So when she was killed he hesitated, but through tensega his father completed him to save her. This was a way for Sesshy to have someone to protect, that discussion he had with his father where he kept asking Sesshy if he had someone to protect. At first he allowed her to follow him to see if it would help him understand his fathers words.

However the true moment that linked them for eternity was when Sesshy lifted her up in his arms and she took her first breath and he felt her lst heart beat. That one heart beat linked, connected them in more ways than either of them could fathom at the time. But through the entire manga/anime she is the only human he has touched. He tried to kill Kagome twice, he used human bandits and demons alike to test his skills.

As the story progresses and he accepts that InuYasha was meant to be the true owner of tetsiga, he accepted it and stopped trying to kill InuYasha or get the sword. Whereupon he was rewarded with his own sword which allowed him to surpass his father.

As for trusting humans, he didn’t they were and are beneath him. They are vicious and constantly waring and killing each other. Just as he knew that Kohaku wanted him to kill him, when he was ordered to kill Rin, he knew how she got beat up the the villegers. 3 men kicking and beating on a child like that – totally dispicable. So after reviving her he couldn’t leave her with a village. He summised she would be treated the same way. And he now had someone to protect which he hoped would help him understand what his father wanted him to learn.

At the end of the final act he see’s first hand and understands that human or demon, their are good and bad of both, and felt he could safely leave Rin in Kayade, Songo’s and Miroku’s hands. That they would protectec her and it would give her a chance to live a normal life and decided which paath she wanted to choose later.

To live amoung humans or to travel with Sesshomaru, and according to the manga, which I haven’t seen past the end of the final act, when she matures she rejoins Sesshomaru, just a Kagamo comes back to be with InuYasha.

As for Kagura that would have never been, but I am glad Sesshy should enough compassion to come to her side and see if perhaps tensiga could possibly save her, and be their so she didn’t have to die alone. He know she had feeling for him, and expressed how happy she was to get to see him one last time.

When you analyze the entire anime it is obvious that she ment for Sesshy and Rin to be together, just like InuYasha and Kagome and Miroku and Songo.

That’s my interpretation and understanding of everything and I hope it helps others who are in doubt understand that as well.
