It is a whole new school year at Nimoki High School. Inuyashs's group begin there first day the same way as always. How was your summer? Where's your locker? Pull out your time table and let's see if we have classes together. Sesshomaru comes along and sits with them as he reads his time table. Miroku spots a new girl and the group watches her as she gets her stuff. Rin is the new girl. Sesshomaru pays no mind. But when her father and ex-boy-friend gang up on her who will save her.
Rin tries to talk to Sesshoumaru, but she doesn't know what to say, she is afraid her lord doesn't want to hear and so she keep in her heart. She wish to tell him how much she misses him, how much she loves him despite her broken heart and just how much she needs him in her life. But these words may forever stay locked in her heart. Sometimes Rin wonders if there were words locked inside Sesshoumaru too... but she'll never know.
Sesshomaru and Rin embark on a long and hard journey. At the end is a reward they can not afford to give up.
