HOWEVER - I WILL offer this one thought. - Have you ever noticed, as an adult, that you need to be reminded ... more often than not...by a child....how to laugh and put life into perspective and not take everything so seriously? Sesshomaru needed a reminder.

This is such a great story. Very well written too! You give great insight into the mind of Sesshoumaru; His turmoil, his view of the world around him and how he takes Rin into consideration. She is one thing he has become dependent of that I think he can accept. The imagery is wonderful!! Thanks for writing it :)

I really, really enjoyed this. I especially liked the idea that Sesshomaru had yet to claim his arm, or Bakusaiga, and his relationship with his father, and all that entailed. Very nice insight into the two of them!
Just one question, though: where is Kohaku during all this?
Also, I *love* the last line. =)

This was wonderfully adorable. I love how Sesshoumaru was able to quell his inner turmoil by doing little more than playing a game with a little girl (regardless of what he may call it). Your characterization was great.
