Submission Rules - PLEASE READ

  1. All submissions must be accompanied by a complete disclaimer. If a suitable disclaimer is not included, the site administrators reserve the right to add a disclaimer. Repeat offenders may be subject to further action up to and including removal of stories and account.
    Sample Disclaimer
Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners. The original characters and plot are the property of the author. The author is in no way associated with the owners, creators, or producers of any media franchise. No copyright infringement is intended.
  2. Titles and summaries must be kid friendly. No exceptions.
  3. "Please read", "Untitled", "I'm no good with summaries" etc. are not acceptable titles or summaries.
  4. Correct grammar and spelling are expected of all stories submitted to this site. We are trying to create an archive of quality fics. The site administrators reserve the right to request corrections in submissions with a multitude of grammar and/or spelling errors. If such a request is ignored, the story will be deleted.
  5. All stories must be rated correctly and have the appropriate warnings. All adult rated stories are expected to have warnings
  6. Stories with multiple chapters should be archived as such and NEVER as separate stories. Upload the first chapter of your story, then go to Manage Stories in your account to add additional chapters. If you have trouble with this, please contact the site administrator or ask a friend to help you.
  7. As much as possible, spoiler warnings are expected on all stories. For categories with serialized content, such as series of books or television series, spoilers are mandatory for the current season and/or most recent part. An appropriate spoiler warning to place in your summary would be: Spoilers for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. DO NOT do anything like this: Spoilers for the one where Spock dies.
  8. As of 10-24-06, all submissions will be moderated by an admin.
  9. DO NOT PUT DISCLAIMERS IN THE SUMMARY SECTION
  10. I thought this would be obvious, but this is a Sesshomaru and Rin fanfiction site. Sess/anyone else as a main pairing is not accepted. Other pairings are allowed, but the main focus must be on Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship either in a platonic or romantic sense.

Submissions found to be in violation of these rules may be removed and the author's account suspended at the discretion of the site administrators and/or moderators. The site administrators reserve the right to modify these rules as needed.

Submission Guidelines:

1. All stories should have basic proper grammar. I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. This includes appropriate punctuation and syntax. If you need help or guidelines on this please check out sites such as Hyper Grammar and 11 Rules of Writing Now I'm not expecting perfection, none of us are English lit professors or experts (I'm assuming), but please make sure that your writing includes correct grammar. I WILL reject your fic if it doesn't.

2. All stories must have correct spelling. There is no excuse for improper spelling with today's word processors. Even the browser FireFox has a spellcheck. This also includes characters names. If I see bizarre incorrect spellings like "Jackyn" for "Jaken", "Shesshomaro" for "Sesshomaru", "Songo" for "Sango".

3. A chapter for a multi-chapter style story should be at a bare minimum, 1,000 words for me to even look at it. More is significantly better. Two or three paragraphs, do not a chapter make.

4. OOC (out of character) fics are not excepted here. If you know your fic is OOC, then please do not sumbit it.

If I do reject your fic, please do not take it personally. If you need to know what needs to be corrected for me to accept it, please email me. I will usually state the exact reason for rejection in the rejection email I send. The easiest thing on you and me is to have a beta reader go over your writing and help you see your mistakes. There are plenty here in this archive and in our forum if you need one.

Thank you for your cooperation and your submissions.
