How do I submit stories?

If you have not already done so, please register for an account. Once you've logged in, click on Account Information and choose Add Story. The form presented there will allow you to submit your story.

What are the ratings used on the site?

We use the ratings system from the MPAA

What are the story classifications?

Stories are classified by categories, genres, and warnings.

Can I delete reviews?

You can delete anonymous reviews only. If there is a review by a registered user that you feel is offensive and inflammatory rather than constructive in criticism, please contact the site administrator.

Why doesn't my story show up right after I submit?

This is because stories submitted to this site are reviewed first by the administrator. There is no need to submit more than once. If your submission is accepted or denied, you will be notified. Please contact the administrator only if a considerable amount of time has gone by without hearing anything, 5-7 days.

My user name and password do not work from the forum.

The forum and fanfiction parts of the site are under different programs. You will need separate accounts for each. Sorry, this is for security issues.

When I try to upload a .doc file, I get an error.

This archive cannot accept .doc files directly at this time, sorry. Direct file uploads must be in .rtf, .htm, .html or plain text formats. The easiest thing to do from Microsoft Word, is to save your story as a .html or .htm file. Or you can simply copy and paste.

When I copy and paste my story with html in it, it comes out with errors.

You will need to click the "HTML" toggle button in the navigation bar after copying and pasting your story to fully format into an HTML document. The engine will format your document into a true html document with two clicks. A copied story from Word with text formatting in place will not need to add html tags. Your formatting will be copied exactly.

My summary won't show up in my submission, how come?

This is most likely because you have used some kind of odd formatting for the text or used non-standard characters. Please do not use formatting for your summary or author's notes. If something is not showing, remove any and all types of formatting. If still it is not showing, contact the admin for help.

I emailed you but you never responded.

This is most likely because your email got trapped in my spam filter. Especially if your email address is from a common mass public emailer like yahoo.com or gmail.com. When you email me, please put a direct subject in your email. For example "Moonlight Flower fanfic problems" or "Fanfiction upload question". Putting "Hi" or "question" in the subject line, is more likely than not going to get deleted in spam and never opened. Using our contact form is best, instead of contacting me directly through my email or through Deviant Art.
